I am not going to lie, i think it’s a bit early for a villain the level of Gorr to be introduced in the MCU, he is, i would say, the 3rd most powerful villain in the MCU, after Dormammu and Thanos, he has literally murdered gods, and in the comic, was able to defeat
Young Thor
Avenger Thor
And Old King Thor (one of the most powerful versions of the god of thunder)
Although obvioulsy at the end, Thor killed him, but that was one of his hardest fights.
Now, i do believe current MCU Thor, now King of Asgard, has or should have the Odinforce, if he does, maybe there is a chance of the movie not taking the exact same steps as the comic, and making just this Thor battle Gorr, because he would be more powerful than these versions (I know Old King Thor is said to be superior to Odin, but in the comic, he was very very weakened, and in fact, he said he couldn’t resist anymore and was ready to die), but maybe they are indeed following the comics and making the Three Thors an actual thing.
Now, i am very excited to see Gorr as a villain, because first, he is one of Thor’s greatest villains ever, is extremely powerful, and he could introduce us to other characters, such as Knull
who is the creator of the All-Black Necrosword, which is the weapon that made Gorr powerful enough to murder all the gods he murdered.

I am very excited to see him as a villain, although i believe is a bit early to introduce him, i say this because he is EXTREMELY powerful, but maybe current MCU Thor could face him, but yeah, my opinion, and final answer to your question is: I am very excited to see him as our next Thor villain .
